Polyethylene (PE) is a closed-cell material with a very even surface and offers excellent physical properties including high resistance to external influences like water or temperature. In addition, polyethylene foam is also characterized by good cushioning and insulating properties.
PE Packaging
The density defines the strength (compression hardness) of PE foams. The density is classified from 30 kg/m³ = soft to 170 kg/m³ = very firm. Furthermore, we can certify good weather resistance and chemical resistance of the foam.

PE is easy to process and can be shaped into accurate shapes by various manufacturing processes. The visually appealing and smooth surface repels dirt.
PE is easy to dispose. Packaging solutions can be recycled easily. The uncured PE foams can be granulated and reused.
PE foam is recommended for sensitive products, which can also be excellently secured with precisely fitting parts and profiles. Optional antistatic foams or foams with ESD protection extend the field of application, e.g. to sensitive electronics.
