Polystyrene foam (PS) also known as Styrofoam, is a solid amorphous material, crystal clear and solid. It is resistant to moisture and water exposure, but decomposes when the material is exposed to UV radiation for a long time. The thermal conductivity is also low.
Polyurethane (PU) is highly elastic, has a good shock absorption coefficient and offers excellent physical properties including good resistance to organic solvents and excellent thermal insulation properties. In addition, there are good sound absorption values at medium to high frequencies.
A durable reusable system for automated packaging cases! Expanded polypropylene (EPP) load carriers by DE-PACK protect painted, polished or further highly sensitive components, especially in the automotive industry. The components are fitted precisely into the carrier, so they are optimally protected from damage. The load carriers themselves, thanks to their sturdiness and durability, can be reused multiple times.
We offer our customers durable and customized load carriers made of EPP. Always specifically tailored to customer requirements, as shown in the picture with 12 cavities, the stackable carriers are optimally designed for heavy parts. Due to the possibility of reusage, the packaging achieves a high circulation efficiency during its use.
This EPP transport container is a durable special solution for heavy and sensitive components. The practical sliding lid prevents components from falling out. Due to the adapted cavities inside, parts can be picked up precisely and easily handled. Stackability, low weight and high packing density are other special properties for this type of packaging.
EPP foam is a real problem solver for the most demanding packaging solutions. The material can be processed well, is reusable, ultralight and absorbs hardly any moisture. The illustration shows an EPP board that can hold narrow products, for example glass panes, circuit boards and many more. The shock-absorbing effect of the material provides optimum protection during transport.
The lightweight thermoplastic foam (EPP) consists of a closed-cell material which has a high structural strength. This ensures excellent energy absorption and high temperature resistance. When used as a packaging material, the durable particle foam can be optimally processed and adapted to the most complicated product shapes.
Expandable polypropylene (EPP) is a thermoplastic foam that can be used efficiently in the heating, air conditioning and ventilation industries as an insulation or housing protection. The closed-cell material is lightweight, has high structural strength and positive mechanical properties, such as very good energy absorption and high temperature resistance.
Particle foam is the standard, especially in the automotive industry. Thanks to their sturdiness and durability, load carriers shuttle back and forth between supplier and manufacturer many hundreds of times before they have to be replaced. Sensitive, painted, polished and in some cases highly sensitive components are held securely and accurately in place.
Stackable load carriers made of particle foam can be precisely milled to the specific shapes and dimensions of the components to be transported. The EPP material from which the carriers are made is elastic and very light. Nevertheless, this material offers high stability and makes it so appealing for use as reusable packaging. A stackable load carrier greatly simplifies the transport of parts between manufacturers and suppliers, reduces costs and improves handling during assembly.
